Our Deluxe Rooms are in the original planter’s bungalow, with high ceilings, red-oxide floors and tall windows that frame the silver oaks. Mornings start with filter coffee on the shared verandah as mist lifts off the estate; evenings end with crickets and the odd nightjar. The rooms are simple and well kept, with thick quilts for the cool nights and a proper work desk if the laptop came along. A good base for couples, friends and solo travellers who plan to spend their days outdoors.
