Take NH48 towards Tumakuru, then the Tiptur–Kadur road to Chikmagalur, or NH75 via Hassan and Belur. Both routes are good; the Hassan route has more tolls and the Tumakuru route is quieter. Kempegowda International Airport (BLR) is the nearest major airport for most guests. KSRTC buses run all day from Majestic and Satellite stations, and overnight trains reach Kadur. Please read the last-mile note below.
The last stretch is a hill road
The final approach is narrow and winding, and mobile signal can drop. Drive in daylight, save an offline map before you set out and call us if you need directions.
